Creating Wrought Iron Decor
There are some real differences in authentic wrought iron decor, from steel and other metals. It is made from steel, then imbued with very small pieces of iron silicates, called “slag”. The high value of the metal occurs when the slag is distributed as fibers, and begins to change the chemical properties.

Your wrought iron tables, benches, gates, or beds keep a great finish, as well. Many metals show corrosion such as paches of verdigris, which is a greenish discoloration. Outdoor wrought iron benches or gates, for instance, will distribute the aging of the metal to a beautiful finish which is asctectically pleasing to the eye and sense of age.
